Enjoy a full day in Paradise!
For the complete scenic or Lord of the Rings experience - this extended journey takes you even further into the incredible scenery beyond Glenorchy. In the morning your journey will take the form of the half-day Paradise Safari as far as Glenorchy, but instead of heading back to Queenstown your guide will take you on to the beautiful Kinloch Lodge for a delicious BBQ lunch. Kinloch is a remote lakefront lodge nestled between the Routeburn and Greenstone walking tracks in some of New Zealand's most picturesque and tranquil countryside.
The itinerary for the afternoon is deliberately kept very flexible, so that we can cater the trip to exactly your requirements. The guide will take you further into the Greenstone Valley to visit the additional LOTR location of Dunharrow - but from here on its almost entirely up to you! Head across the swingbridge onto the Greenstone walking track, visit the Routeburn River and cross the bridges leading onto either the Routeburn or the Sylvan Lake walking tracks, or just head for a scenic drive at the discretion of your very knowledgable guide!
