This trail from Twelve Mile Creek through to Bob's Cove closely follows the natural contours of Lake Wakatipu. Not only does it offer superb mountain and lake views, but there is a wide variety of vegetation and bird-life to enjoy along the track. The trail ascends to superb viewing levels before returning to the lakeshore offering a chance to rest on a pebbly beach.

Our friendly and knowledgeable guides are happy to provide information on the area's history, flora & fauna and recent development. The trip maintains an easy pace, and takes about 2 - 2.5 hours. This will allow for regular photo stops and an opportunity to explore the ruins of historic lime kilns. Walkers will enjoy refreshments in the wilderness only a few kilometres from downtown Queenstown. A superb afternoon!
