Info & Track is a NZ owned business. It was started in 2003 by local businessman, Chris Smith. Chris remained at the helm until 2011 when he retired and sold the business to long-standing Queenstown 4WD tour operator, Nomad Safaris, owned by David & Amanda Gatward-Ferguson. In 2025 became part of the Pure Tourism Group following the sale of Nomad Safaris.
Info & Track provides a wide range of key services including transport, local area information and activity bookings.
During the winter months, Info & Track becomes Info & Snow, providing mountain transport from Queenstown and all-inclusive snow packages to four local ski fields.
With our wide range of vehicles and expertise, we can offer charter transport solutions all year round. Conference groups, local events, airport transfers, film crews and more, we can do it all. From comfortable 4* minivans to 4WD Land Cruisers to buses, we have the right vehicle for the job.
Info & Track is also the main booking hub for Nomad Safaris tours, which range from guided 4WD trips into the historic gold-mining areas of Skippers Canyon and Macetown, Lord of the Rings location trips, Guided Routeburn Day hikes and Quad Bike (ATV) safaris. It is also the home to LordoftheringsNZ.com, a hobbit hole of gifts and souvenirs available all year round!
