Info & Track provides scheduled bus services from Queenstown to the Greenstone & Caples Track (Greenstone Caples Carpark).
All buses depart from outside Info & Track, 37 Shotover Street, with selected accommodation and airport pickups available on request (a surcharge may apply). All services are via the township of Glenorchy, at the gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park.
The Great Walks season runs from early November to end of April. “On Demand” transport services are available outside of this period.
Advance bookings are recommended on bus services.

📢 Travel info for Greenstone and Kinloch early departures📢
Please be advised: The 10.30 am from Greenstone and 10.45 am from Kinloch will not leave Glenorchy for Queenstown until 3.00pm. Please plan your journey accordingly and ensure you are prepared for the an extended stop in Glenorchy before the departure to Queenstown.

Te Araroa walk 80 km bypass – Greenstone / Queenstown
Refers to the option on the Te Araroa (TA) trail in New Zealand to bypass the 80km section of busy, dangerous road. The bypass is not an official part of the trail but avoids the long road walk around Lake Wakatipu between the Greenstone Carpark and Queenstown.
